Maury Saunders began his career being hired by internationally renouned Design Partner at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), David Childs, FAIA, Design Partner and CEO best known as the Partner-in-Charge for the new World Trade Center in NYC, while he was in Washington, DC.
Design Director with Capital Improvements at NAVFAC Washington, charged with oversight of $700M annual design program comprised of range of building types, including BEQ's, educational facilities, medical classrooms and training rooms, hangars, operational support buildings, food and retail, and day care facilities.
